Isabel, a licensed cosmetologist/instructor, specializing in aesthetics education for over 30 years, has been credited for her influence of the Arizona aesthetic business. Isabel set the standards and the foundation for the aesthetics industry in Arizona by opening the state's first aesthetics training institute licensed by the Arizona Board of Cosmetology; National Aesthetics Institute - Scottsdale in 1998. Isabel's vision of the industry was years ahead of its time. Isabel wanted to give the industry a sense of professionalism that had not yet been experienced in the cosmetology field. Taking aesthetics out of the cosmetology school and giving it its own identity was the first step. Isabel was one of the valley's first cosmetologist to be employed by various plastic surgeons. This employment came at a time when aestheticians were new to the medical office and allowed her to co-mingle the medical knowledge with the beauty industry.
Isabel’s solid credibility and integrity put her on the map as the person to go to for developing your skin care business. She has lectured at many skin care and medical expos and conferences throughout the past 20 years as an expert in clinical aesthetics due to her vast knowledge and expertise in educating all aspects of traditional and clinical aesthetics has provided her employment as an independent contractor for salons, resort spas, medical office, skin care, product lines and aesthetics schools.
